The Official Holloway Bar Gold Panning Kit - Deluxe Version
Garrett's Gravity Trap Gold Panning Kit is at the heart of our deluxe gold panning kit. The deluxe version of our adventure kit contains two gold pans - a 14" pan for general panning, and a 10" pan for finer work (or to give to the kids!). It also contains a classifier/sifter to help filter out the larger rocks and gravel, a gold-guzzler suction bottle to help get the gold out of the pan, two small gold vials to store your treasures, and a pair of tweezers and magnifying glass to inspect the smaller pieces of gold or some of the other interesting minerals. Also included is a prospecting book called "Find an ounce of gold a day".
We then add our own personal touch to Garrett's kit. We include a deluxe gold magnet from Keene Engineering to help you separate the gold from the black sand. We also prepare and add a sealed bag containing approximately 1 kg of gold concentrate material for panning, The Official Holloway Bar Gold Panning Kit Video DVD, and a certificate of authenticity. Assembled by us on the Holloway Bar property, this kit contains everything you need to get started on your gold panning adventure.
We top the kit off with a deluxe canvas carry/storage bag that holds all of the kit contents. The bag is sturdy enough to carry all of this out in the field for your prospecting adventures.

Panning Kit Refill
At the core of our adventure kit is the gold-bearing concentrate. This sealed zip-lock bag contains approximately 1 kg of our special mixture. We start by feeding gold-bearing gravel and ore into The Wizard gold plant and run the plant for 8 to 10 hours and process many cubic meters of material. This ensures that the sluicebox on the gold plant is loaded with gold concentrate. We then take some of this concentrate and mix it with raw gold-bearing ore directly out of our ore pit to complete the mixture. You'll end up with about 1/3 concentrate and 2/3 raw ore. This mixing process ensures that every kit contains gold from the concentrate, but the addition of the raw ore gives you a chance to find a larger nugget in your pan!
