Where is this information stored? Is it safe there?
Credit card and personal information used for online purchases is NEVER stored on our website. The name and address Information collected for online purchase information is entered into our shopping cart during the checkout phase. This information is then encrypted before being sent via a secure link to our credit card processor. Only then, on the secure server of our credit card processor, is your credit card data entered. This information is NEVER seen by our website. We can only access name and address information through the secure servers of our business partners through a fully encrypted process similar to that which you experience when shopping at our online store.
We may download, again through a secure communications channel, this name and address information to our "administrative" computers, where it is stored in our accounting software as customer account information. WE NEVER DOWNLOAD OR STORE YOUR CREDIT CARD DATA. Our administrative computers are located behind hardware and software firewalls so are not directly exposed to the Internet.
