Shipping Policy
It's important to us at Holloway Bar Productions that once you order a product, you receive it intact in a reasonable period of time. Once we receive notification that you've purchased a product through our online store, the following process is initiated. All of our shipping is done using Canada's national postal service, Canada Post. If, for any reason, we are unable to complete processing of your order, we will advise you of this via the email address indicated during the checkout process. If your credit card has been charged, the charges will be reversed unless you request otherwise.
The item is pulled from stock and packed into a sturdy shipping container. An address label with the name and address information is prepared and added to the package. Once your product has been packaged, it is delivered to the nearest Canada Post outlet where it will be mailed via Parcel Post. This will happen within two to three days of your order.
The product may be shipped from Watson Lake, Yukon or Jade City, BC. Both of these locations are serviced only by "surface mail" as no airlines service either of these locations (in other words, Air Mail just isn't available from this remote area!). Remember, we're located in Canada's northern region where some services taken for granted by those near urban centers are just not available!
Once the package has been shipped, packages should be delivered to most domestic addresses by Canada Post within 7 business days.
Sales taxes are charged as follows, in accordance with the Social Services Tax Act of B.C. Orders shipped to B.C. will be charged both GST at 5% and PST at 7%. Orders shipped to other parts of Canada will be charged GST at 5% only. Orders shipped to other countries are charged no sales taxes. Shipping and handling charges assessed are charged sales taxes on the same basis as the products. Any taxes that are required to be self-assessed by the customer are totally the responsibility of the customer. Check your local tax regulations to determine whether you are required to self-assess and remit any sales tax on your order.
You should receive your package within 10 business days of your order. Should you not receive your order, you may contact us via either email (preferred) to support@hollowaybar.com or via telephone to 250-615-3474. As this is a cellular telephone, you may have to leave a message if we happen to be out of cellular telephone range at the gold mine. But, we check for messages frequently and will return your call as soon as we can.
International Orders
Our shipping cost calculations do not reflect any customs fees, tariffs, taxes, or duties that may be incurred by the customer. As the purchaser, you are solely responsible for any additional costs associated with international shipping and delivery as well as any customs clearances that may be needed.
Holloway Bar Production will fill out any forms requested by the post office, but will not be responsible for any specialized forms that are required by your specific country. You may find that slightly longer shipping times apply to international orders. The customer is responsible for any duties, customs fees, and applicable taxes.
Shipping and Handling Charges
Shipping and handling is currently calculated and charged at 15% of the order value. This results in approximate shipping and handling costs as follows:
