The job might involve running to the bridge on the four-wheeler to pick up another load of supplies for camp. The foot bridge is about ½ a kilometre from camp, so everything has to be hauled in.
Or, maybe there’s a trip up the waterline on the agenda for the day. Look at the head gear Christina is wearing to keep the many McDame Creek bugs at bay. The bugs are relentless in their efforts to find a meal.
So, what about that man working the shovel at the business end of the gold plant that we saw in the first picture? Let’s have a little closer look…
