The camera is now hung inside of the 4" sewer pipe tee using a mount that allows the camera to be moved around a bit.  Now, we have to cut out the plexiglass and build the clear end for the camera to look through. I first cut the circular piece of plexiglass, and fine-tuned the size and shape until it fit snugly inside of the plastic coupler.  This plexiglass was rather "old", so the protective paper was a lot of work to remove!

Next, I broke out the green spray paint for a base coat for these two enclosures, and then sprayed the company dragon logo in bright red.
The antenna enclosure is next on the list.  These were just made from scraps I had kicking around the workshop - the end from an old tobacco can, an empty 4 litre ice-cream pail, and some screws.  The antennas have a magnetic mount to stick to the tobacco can.  A quick spray of green and they're ready to go!
Here's a completed camera ready to go - lens protector and all.  You can see by looking through the end that the plexiglass cutout will work well to protect the camera while allowing an unobstructed view of the outside world.  The two enclosures here will be used for Camera 1 - the WildLifeCam - and Camera 2 - the BridgeCam.  Camera 3 - the MiningCam - is a little different design (it has tilt and pan controls on it), so a different style of enclosure was needed to protect it from the elements.  Read on for more...
