About this Video: The images for this video came from the two Lakelse Lake webcams that are currently uploading pictures to the web once per minute. Most of the video was streamed and saved to the hard disk of the computer located on-site, but the early and late images (just after dawn and just before dark) were from the once-per-minute stream. If you look closely, you can see where the images "smoothen out" in the morning indicating the transition from still to streamed images.
The ice went out a couple of weeks earlier this year than last - and most of the action happened during the day. In 2009, the ice was already well on its way to going out once daylight broke.
