It was dark when the ice started to move. By 6:30 am open water is clearly visible.By 7, there's only a little bit of movement.Bit by bit, more open water can be seen. The wind is moving the ice around breaking it up into pieces. There's still quite of bit of ice left here. The ice is still clearly visible looking to the north. It's 8:00 am and the ice is still moving north. Most of the south end of the lake is open now. The ice moving north is breaking up and melting.By 9:00 am the wind picks up a bit and the ice really starts to move. After another 30 minutes, ithe ice is just barely visible.By 10:00 am, there's no ice visible to the camera at all.By late morning, almost no ice is visible anywhere.Sometimes the ice will pull out or shear off anything in its path.Ths only ice left is still attached to the shore. The rest has broken off and blown away by the wind.
